Honoring Betty

The Seeds We Leave Behind

A memorial created from flowers gathered from the funeral arrangements of Elizabeth "Betty" Sprigler.

Known for her deep faith, love of gardening, and devotion to family, Betty lived a life marked by gratitude and service.
This piece preserves a small portion of that beauty as a lasting tribute to her memory.

Preserved beneath glass, these blooms serve as a lasting tribute to a woman whose kindness, generosity, and love continue to grow in the lives she touched. 🌱

Creating this memorial became an unexpected turning point in my own grief journey.
Just weeks after losing my heart dog, Izzie, I found myself helping another family preserve something precious.
In caring for their memories, I began learning how to care for my own.

In addition to Betty’s cloche, I also created an additional two pieces.

The first was a shadowbox of dried, pressed flowers from her arrangement.
The other smaller piece was for another family member to cherish.

This piece is one chapter in a much larger story.
