Introduction

The Ascension Series is a minor collection focused on portals, light, and motion. It was made during a period of digital experimentation and continues the direction I started with the Signal Series earlier that year.

Instead of the dense, hand-drawn linework I usually rely on, this series uses blended layers, gradients, and light effects to create swirling vortexes and glowing portals. The pieces feel more atmospheric, with energy radiating outward and a sense of upward movement.

While still psychedelic in feel, these works lean into color, depth, and optical motion rather than intricate mark-making. It was a quieter, more screen-based exploration during a time when I was playing with different ways of building form and light.

  • You look up as the sky tears open, clouds spiraling into a massive vortex. A brilliant light bursts forth, so blinding that it forces you to squint. Suddenly, a feeling of weightlessness overcomes you—your feet lift off the ground, slowly at first. Fear grips you for a moment, but it quickly fades, replaced by a sense of wonder. You are ascending, drawn upward into the heart of the glowing storm, towards something unknown, something calling from the heavens above.

  • The light intensifies, a searing brightness that seems to fill every corner of existence. You rise higher, the vortex spinning faster, its colors blurring into a radiant swirl. The air hums with energy, vibrating through your bones. You feel the force of it—powerful, overwhelming—yet strangely calming, as if you’re meant to be here.

    The world below fades into a distant memory, the light above now a beacon, drawing you deeper into its brilliance. You are weightless, ascending further, the unknown closer than ever, the heavens alive with an indescribable force that seems ready to reveal itself.

  • The clouds begin to dissolve, unraveling as if giving way to something greater. The light is almost blinding now—vivid shades of pink, green, grey, and white swirl around you, forming a celestial tapestry. In the center, a radiant prismatic beam pulses, refracting in countless colors, painting the sky in mesmerizing patterns.

    You are drawn closer, the swirling hues merging, becoming a single, vibrant energy. There is no fear—only an overwhelming sense of awe, as the light envelops you fully, the heavens now a kaleidoscope of brilliance, leading you to a place beyond anything you’ve known.

  • The light shifts, transforming into a spectrum of yellow, pink, and green—each color vivid, almost alive. The swirling energy at the center becomes distinct, no longer just a beam, but a presence—a power source, vast and unfathomable. It pulses, gathering energy, the colors converging as if preparing for something momentous.

    You feel its power growing, a resonating hum echoing all around, the vibrations coursing through your being. The center begins to open, revealing itself as a portal, charging with raw, untamed energy. It calls to you, promising a passage to somewhere beyond comprehension, a doorway to another reality.

  • The brightness is almost overwhelming now, radiant shades of yellow, green, and pink blending into a celestial glow. You realize this is an anthelion—a rare halo formed by the interplay of light and clouds, a reflection of something beyond sight. The portal pulses, vibrant and alive, the hum reaching a resonant peak.

    You are drawn closer, on the threshold of a new world, the edges of the swirling light parting as if inviting you in. The colors shimmer, promising mysteries beyond comprehension. With one final pulse, the portal expands, and you are pulled forward, ready to cross into the unknown.

  • You enter the portal, and the world shifts. Light and color twist and overlap, folding in on themselves, as if reality is unraveling and reweaving in chaotic patterns. Energy pulses erratically, no longer rhythmic but wild, an unpredictable force with no clear direction. It’s beautiful and disorienting, as if every hue and every fragment of light is trying to exist all at once.

    Amidst the chaos, you glimpse the center—a distant light beyond the gate, steady and unwavering, calling to you from deep within the disorder, a beacon through the tempest of energy.

  • You approach the portal—a swirling expanse of pink, green, and yellow, encircled by a ring of clouds. The dark center looms, an opening that seems to stretch beyond sight, as if it holds the mysteries of countless worlds within. Light pulses softly, the colors blending and folding into one another, creating a kaleidoscope of shifting hues.

    The air is still, almost sacred, as if the universe itself is waiting. You stand at the threshold, where the known and the unknown touch. The portal beckons—"Limbus," the border between what is and what might be, a gateway into the endless possibilities that lie beyond. With a deep breath, you step forward, embracing the journey that awaits.

Here’s what that actually means in simple terms: When you click on any piece in this series and go to DRiP, you’re entering a special corner of the internet called Solana. Solana is like a big digital notebook that keeps track of who owns what. Instead of paper money or regular websites, it uses something called blockchain to make sure digital things (like art) can’t be copied or faked.

An NFT (which stands for Non-Fungible Token) is just a fancy way of saying “this specific digital thing belongs to you.” It’s like getting a one-of-a-kind trading card, except it lives on the internet and you can keep it forever in a digital wallet.

DRiP Haus makes this process much simpler than most NFT sites. Artists can drop collections for free, and collectors can claim them easily. If you claim a piece on DRiP, it goes into your digital wallet and stays yours. You can keep it, sell it later, or just enjoy having it.

The original releases of the Ascension Series on DRiP have already finished. These pieces are no longer available to claim for free. If you want one now, you can only buy it on the secondary market through Tensor, where collectors buy and sell pieces that were originally dropped on DRiP.
